NTFS VS FAT32

Ok, what is the difference?  Can anybody tell?

I guess you'll have a headache if you read the definition from the wikipedia

Here's the shorter version:

NTFS is newer than FAT32, with improved performance, features and security.  In short, NTFS is better.  However FAT32 is also commonly used as an additional usage.  Meaning, FAT32 is preferably be used for external harddisk to prevent most security issue when you're using it on other computers, such as, 'you're not authorized; could not detect device, etc'.

For Mr KS's situation, NTFS is recommended.

If you'd like an in-depth comparison, here is it.
